The boys were happy to get away with a pretty convincing win over the tiges last Sunday. We got out of there injury free and were happy with the 2 points. with our season in the state its in, it’s a bonus to be able to have everyone on deck from week to week.
i was even lucky enough to come away with a try late in the game. i busted through a tackle about 30 out, the fullback wasn’t at home, so i pinned the ears back and just got over the line.
Beating the ‘05 premiers was a bit of a confidence boost especially cos their season was on the line as much as ours. but we can’t get too ahead of ourselves because we all know that one or 2 losses and we are done for.
Even though we’ve put a few wins together, there’s still a bit of a feeling of disappoinment about our season, especially because we’ve got pretty much the same guys as last year.
Still, training has definitely been more enjoyable over the past few weeks.

Today i had a chat with a guy called Mark about our win on the weekend against the Warriors in Auckland.
We recorded the talk and have put it up on the blog.
for your listening pleasure…

I always wanted to play footy because my brother Ian played. I hope i’m finally getting to play as good as he did.

After playing first grade for 2 years i got my first rep call up for the World Cup side that did NZ in the final.
