The funeral of Eels’ great Billy Rayner was on earlier in the week. i didn’t get to pay my respects there as i’m taking care of my son Archie this week. 

 Archie’s mum is in Thailand for 7 days so i’m taking care of the little fella. he’s giving crawling a go and we’ll be working on that together to try and make mum jealous when she gets back.

He’s a handful but i’m pretty lucky cos he sleeps from 7 to 7 each night. 

i got out to an u/11s state finals tournament in Cabramatta yesterday to see the kids play and sign some autographs.
 
There was a big turn out actually and other players like Hazem el Mazri, Chris Armit, Justin Tsoulos, Brett Hodgson and David Peachy came out to support kids rugby league. 

We’ve had 24 rounds of tough footy and only 2 rounds left of the regular season. I wouldn’t mind a rest but not until we do all we can to try and get that premiership.
 
We’re lucky at this stage of the season to be in as good shape as we are, particularly considering what happened [...]

i hadn’t been to a cirque de soleil show before but last week’s effort was pretty entertaining.
 
There was a story to it -  a guy loses his wings and finds a girl that he eventually marries (sorry to ruin it for you) but if there was anything else  to the story i didn’t follow. [...]
