Back from the dead

I’ve only just turned my phone back on after taking a few days off from the world due to our loss in the first week of finals.

My family and friends have been very supportive since Sunday’s loss to the Storm and know not to expect too much chatter from me this week.

i thought the boys played well and i’m not dirty on myself or them for losing. Its just tough to know your season is finished but their are teams that are still playing on and we’re not going to be a part of it. From here i’ll probably watch bits and pieces of the rest of the games but will probably struggle to sit through a whole match.

Sort of can’t help being a bit jealous but if you’re not good enough to be there then you’re not going to be there - that’s footy.

Anyway just going to spend some time with the family now but just wanted to put the word out on the blog that i appreciate all the well wishing, support and comments from you guys throughout the season. It’s been a good season despite the rough start and even though it could’ve been a little bit better, the support from the fans has helped a lot.

thanks.

hey hindy…jus wanted to say well done on the game, its unlucky that u lost, u guys tried ur hearts out and as a fan thats all we can really ask for. This year our team showed everybody that u should never give up even when it doesnt look so good and it turned out to be better for u. As a supporter im proud of u boys always, but for u to end the year like this its just that much better…so thanks for all of ur hard work, and enjoy ur holidays

Nathan, I wish to say BIG thank you to you and the guys. The team and us supporters can hold our heads high. I believe we should of been in the finals this week, but things just didn’t go our way. I like many others and not just Parra supporters believe Glenn’s try was a try, but the men who need glasses didn’t. Please enjoy your time off over the off season with your family and friends and I will be counting the days & weeks down until we see the men in blue and gold run on the field to start and finish 2007 with a blast. 2007 will be our year.

hey hindy im proud of the boys for just making the eight!! it was a great effort and you can hold your head high mate because you almost beat the benchmark of the comp!! especially you, youre an inspiration to young players who go out there and instead of scoring tries, try to top the tackle count and i believe thats more important. hope you have a really relaxing and refreshing break and a solid off season with all the new faces and changes

I am in some deadend town in Spain that I don´t even know the name of but Hindy, good to hear from you and the NRL. Congrats on your Dally M and bad luck on going out of the comp (although I am a Dragons girl). No idea where I am - meant to be in Madrid but managed to miss the train and have nowhere to go and think I am the only Aussie in town. Aaargh! Miss my footy so bad. So happy to find this page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Milan are up 3-0 v AEK. Love your work mate.
