If winning the TriNations final wasn’t enough excitement, Christmas has got me pumped.
The family’s heading down to Robbo tomorrow to spend Christmas day with my folks, then we’ll head to Noosa on boxing day to see Bonnie’s family.
Almost got the prezzies sorted except for about 3 or 4, which I’ll get out of the way tomorrow morning before we head off.
Bonnie said she like a trip to Thailand for Christmas, but I doubt Santa’s sack stocks goods like that. Unfortunately that probably means that my wish for a Guns n Roses pinball machine will go begging as well.
Archie’s in for a new little tricycle on Christmas day. Speaking of which, the little fella started walking last week! Bonnie and me both missed it as we were down in Melbourne for a wedding.
In bad news, I won’t be training until mid January. I had an operation on my big toe recently due to worsening arthritis. I’m off the crutches but still have a way to go with recovery.
New Year’s I’m heading to Terrigal with a couple of mates including Nathan Cayless who was recently married (congrats). So between the holiday season and my recent life membership to parramatta leagues, there’s enough going on to keep my mind off my big toe.
Merry Christmas all – and happy new year.
