Injuries and action figures

Well, I trained this week but I’m still not up to scratch so haven’t been named in the team to take on the Bunnies this Sunday at Telstra. I’ll be there in the stands though to watch the boys. And not to whinge but I’ve also got a bit of a cold so I’m in the wars a bit healthwise.

I thought that Ian had a pretty good game against the Warriors last week all things considered. The boys didn’t have enough ball during the game but despite the loss it wasn’t the worst start to the season.

Souths are a definite threat this year, as is every one I s’pose. The comp just keeps getting closer and closer.

I’ve just finished watching Dora the Explorer on Nick Jnr with Archie – top show. The little fella also has a brand new action figure of his old man. He can’t really play with it though – you can’t just take a collector’s item like that out of the plastic.

The likeness of the toy isn’t bad, but I think the head is a bit fat and swollen – not bad for a first effort, though.

Next Thursday I’ll be at Peter Wynn’s Score with Brett Hodgson for the launch of the toys so get out there if you can.

Yesterday I went to a Winter fashion launch at Westfield with Nathan (check out the MMS post). Luke Bert and Ben Smith were modelling. Not a bad effort but they did go a bit red when they noticed that we were in the crowd.

    Hey Nathan,

I felt Ian played really well last week too. And yeah it was a loss but i was still really proud of the boys.

Make sure you rug yourself up today if your going to the game.. its freezing and well if you have a cold you dont want it to get any worse.

Best of luck for today. Blue and Gold all the way!

    hey hindy,

yeah ian did his best against the warriors (and not too bad today either) shame about the humiliating loss though - i hope you get back on the paddock soon to turn things around, we could do with the muscle!!

pass my congrats on to caylo, pj and piggy all who in my opinion had a great game despite the scoreline and to add to that mateo who should retain his spot - i think the kid is special.

get well soon hindy and give it to those bloody tigers on friday night!!
