Well, the blues unfortunately lost the Origin series. We were beaten by a better side
fair and square. On the upside…

THIS SUNDAY - Guns n Roses. Fired. Up.

It’s tough to come back physically from the Origin games but losing the series has not  affected my motivation and enthusiasm in the Eels squad.

I managed to have a pretty good game against the Dragons after Origin (48 tackles. but i
missed 6 - we’ll put that down to the wet).

Myself and Piggy Riddell got out to a little supporter’s birthday recently. Matthew’s
parents bid on us at a fundraising auction (i’m guessing the winning bid was about
$7.50). It was good fun and i even scored a lolly bag at the end of the party - 2 actually, don’t tell anyone. 

Check out Archie’s new helmet on the MMS page. Apart from helping his impersonation of
darth vader he’ll be able to use it when we get out to Robbo and mess around with bikes.
I think his girlfriend Mia Cayless is impressed and he must appreciate it ‘cos he’s
saying ‘dad’ a lot more than ‘mum’ these days.

We’ve got the Roosters this weekend. They’ve been getting better over recent weeks so
it’ll be a test. i hope i break my try scoring drought. it’s been a while.

In other news, the campaign to call the new baby Rowdy isn’t going well.
Bonnie and I took Archie and his cousin Dakota to Lolly Pops Playland at Castle Hill
(check the MMS page - cute stuff in the tea cup).

Anyway, the important thing is
